/This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Planner. The Assistant Planner is an essential team member in the Planning and Economic Development Department. The Assistant Planner has a number of responsibilities including, but not limited to, performing completeness reviews of application and notifies applicants regarding deficiencies or noncompliance with approved procedures, advising them of necessary corrective steps; responding to inquiries from the general public relative to such matters as land use, soil conditions, flood areas, utilities, etc.; and working with other involved Town departments regarding requirements for site plan approval.
