New York Upstate Chapter of the American Planning Association is pleased to partner with NYPF to bring you this "Learn at Lunch" webinar on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from Noon to 1pm via Zoom!

This webinar is an adaption of a speech given by Bill Fulton to the Onondaga County Planning Federation. After decades of stagnation, many parts of Upstate New York now face significant growth challenges because of the tech boom (i.e., Micron in Syracuse). How can these municipalities prepare for growth that has never been seen in many people's lifetimes?

Bio: Bill Fulton, FAICP, is one of America's major thought leaders on land use, economic development, and urban development. A former Mayor of Ventura, California, and Planning Director of San Diego, Bill is now a Professor of Practice at the University of California, San Diego and Principal at William Fulton Group. He was named one of Planetizen's Top 100 Urban Thinkers in 2009.
